Creative Prompt Day !

CREATIVITY- The ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc. [Creativity week begins here. Click for this week's Bliss Initiatives.]

Participating in a creative prompt project is a terrific idea for developing a regular art practice. For the past two Creativity weeks we have been popping in on Jaye, ArtQuiltmaker's Creative Prompt practice. It is interesting to see what the prompt inspires in others and to spontaneously participate.  The girl and I came up with these very festive fairy wands for the  Creative Prompt #35: Purple and I am excited to see what we come up with for today's Cafe' Prompt.

Creative Prompt #63: Cafe’

See the Creative Prompt page if you have questions about this project.
Post the direct URL (link) where your drawing, doodle, artwork is posted (e.g. your blog, Flickr) in the comments area of this post. I would really like to keep all the artwork together and provide a way for others to see your work and/or your blog.
The Creative Prompt Project, also, has a Flickr group, which you can join to  post your responses. I created this spot so those of you without blogs and websites would have a place to post your responses.
Put a note in the comments about what comes to mind when you read this word.

So how about you? What does Cafe' evoke in you? I'm picturing creamy swirls of milk and those fancy designs some barristas embellish in the foam on my latte... often very fern like... hmmm... something festive is calling to be created! I'll keep you posted!

And meanwhile I think I'm off to have an inspiring latte!
