Incomplete Inquiries

INQUIRY - a seeking or request for truth, information, or knowledge; study, scrutiny, exploration. [Inquiry Week starts here. Click for this week's Bliss Initiatives.]

Found at ThinkExist.com

First of all tonight, I apologize to my guest blogger, SamsaricWarrior. I COMPLETELY messed up our communication and thought you had agreed to having your post to me yesterday, when in fact I said ANYTIME this week would be great! I'm sorry if I added any stress or annoyance to your already busy life! I also apologize to my readers who may have come looking for that foreshadowed post today... do look for it later this week!

Inquiry is an interesting process. I have been "in the process," inquiring into my bliss initiatives, since my post on Monday, convinced that something really interesting and unique would pop up for me to share. On the face of it Inquiry looks like such an easy discussion. The exact condition of being alive means that we are always in it. Inquiry is part of the fabric of our lives and more often then not our inquiries lead no where in particular. The trick of it all however, is NOT to lose sight of the magic.

The desire to get to a conclusion can get in the way of the journey's joy. In my quest to find something "worth sharing" I let anxiousness infect the pleasurable meander. I didn't stop to enjoy the random blogs, news articles and odd technology I discovered. For some reason I was conducting an elaborate sorting process. If my find didn't prove life changing, incredibly fascinating or at least remarkable in some giant way I moved on quickly, completely forgetting why I love inquiry to begin with!

Inquiry is a unique and particularly human enchantment. We can't help ourself... case in point my daughter and these snails.

Don't short change yourself, enjoy the process!

What inquiries are you in today?

  1. I am working on ideas for fall-themed jewelry - debating on what components to use and see what combination works the best. :) Theresa
